What Is Access to Work?
Access to Work is a government scheme that funds practical or emotional support for people who have a physical or mental health condition, or are in addiction recovery, that affects their ability to work. This support can cover coaching, adjustments, and more — at no cost to the client.
Who Can Apply?
Anyone who is:

In paid work or about to start work (employed or self-employed)

Aged 16 or over

Living in England, Scotland or Wales

Living with addiction recovery, mental health challenges, or another condition that impacts their work
How Mind on Side Can Help

We help you apply and explain your situation clearly

We provide support letters and service plans

We work with your employer or job coach if needed

We provide funded coaching sessions once approved
Costs & Funding
Our standard support rate is pain through the AtW, which aligns with Access to Work support worker funding brackets. In most cases, the full cost is covered through the scheme.
