Your Work - Your Wellbeing - Our Mission
Mind On Side is a trauma-informed, multi-skilled support brand rooted in lived experience and inclusive leadership. We work with individuals, employers, and organisations to make recovery, neurodiversity, mental health, and workplace support accessible, safe, and truly transformative. We don’t do one-size-fits-all. Our support listens first, adapts to need, and empowers people to thrive, helping them overcome barriers and sustain meaningful employment.
The Mission
Mind On Side was born from the gaps we once faced. We know what it’s like to feel unseen, unheard, or unsupported, and we’ve built a brand that refuses to let others feel the same. Every service, message, and design choice is intentional: trauma-informed, emotionally resonant, and rooted in curiosity, not judgment.
We believe support should feel human. That inclusion should be more than a policy. And that real change starts with listening.
Company/Business Owners
Mind On Side can help your business support staff in every area—from return-to-work plans and adjustment requests to mental health emergencies, prevention, and training. Even one dedicated team member can reduce HR challenges, improve wellbeing, and help your workforce thrive.
People In Need of Support
Mind On Side is far more than grant support, we bring lived experience and real understanding that no degree or textbook can provide. Our team has walked through mental health episodes, addiction, homelessness, breakdowns, and neurodiverse challenges, so we know exactly what it takes to help someone get back on track.
We don’t just offer one-off guidance. We provide consistent, step-by-step support with the same trusted staff member every time, building real relationships and real results. Our team includes people with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia who truly understand the challenges our clients face, because they’ve lived them.
This is why we’re already the choice for transformative support. Now we need Access to Work to see it too, so we can become a verified business and extend our expertise to more workplaces, helping staff thrive, recover, and stay supported every step of the way.

Mind On Side Origins
Mind On Side was born from lived experience. Our founder and early team members have faced the challenges of mental health crises, addiction, neurodiverse differences, homelessness, and workplace barriers first-hand. We saw the gaps in traditional support, where people were handed forms, referrals, or generic advice, but never the ongoing, human-centred guidance that truly makes a difference.
From these experiences, Mind On Side grew into a multi-skilled, trauma-informed support organisation that listens first, adapts to need, and walks alongside people every step of the way. We combine lived experience with professional knowledge to create practical, step-by-step solutions that work in the real world, helping individuals and employers navigate recovery, mental health, neurodiversity, and workplace challenges.
Our mission has always been clear: to make support accessible, safe, and transformative, because real care comes from knowing what it’s like to be there.
